When used for very thick pieces, like 12/4 red oak, the vacuum dryer did indeed dry within 7 days, but the quality was poor on about 50% of the pieces. (Having been somewhat negative, I do have to say that VacuTherm has a good unit and good quality. I have not seen any in use, except one.)
